PGIMER (Post-Basic) Nursing Entrance Exam

The candidates who are seeking admission to B.Sc. (Post Basic) must hold a diploma in general nursing and midwifery (GNM). The candidate must be a registered nurse (RN)/ a registered midwife. While the admit card for Post Basic nursing entrance exam will be available from July 2018, the date of examination has been fixed as August 12, 2018. The result will be declared on August 13, 2018.

B.Sc. (Nursing) Entrance exam -2018

The aspirants pursuing M.Sc. (Nursing) must have a degree in BSc (Hons), B.Sc. in Nursing and Post basic nursing. The candidates must have scored 60% in aggregate for general/OBC category and 55% marks for SC/ST in the qualifying examination. The date of PGIMER M.Sc. entrance exam is June 24, 2018, and the result will be declared on June25, 2018.

PGIMER Nursing Entrance 2018: Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for PGIMER Nursing Entrance Exam will be as follows. The medium of exam for entrance test will be English only and the duration for MSc nursing and B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic) entrance exam will be 1 hour 30 minutes. The question paper will have multiple choices. Under the marking norm, 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Exam pattern for the paramedical courses will have objective type questions in the subjects – Chemistry, Physics, Math/Biology, Gen English, Gen Knowledge and current affairs. The date of PGIMER Paramedical Entrance exam has been fixed for August 19, 2018. The result will be declared on August 20, 2018.
